This class is designed to teach students the proper skills needed to cook nutritious and creative meals for themselves, helping to prepare them to be more independent. Maybe they can utilize their new knowledge to help in the kitchen at home! We will also explore where our food and recipes have originated, including the different cultures, countries, and cuisines. This class is for all skill levels. If your student is more advanced, I will make sure to challenge them with more difficult concepts and techniques.
Please note: I am happy to try to make accommodations for those students who are gluten and dairy free by choice. Unfortunately, I cannot make accommodations for those with severe food allergies as cross contamination can happen and I do not have a gluten/dairy/or nut free kitchen. Organic fruits/vegetables and other organic foods are used when possible but not exclusively. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss.
